Right now, around the world, black people are joining together and speaking up against the continued injustice of racial prejudice and discrimination. As a proud black man and an adoring father, I’d like to share with you an on-going photography project, “UNEXPOSED”, which seeks to break down universal stereotypes surrounding the black male father figure.

In this photo series, I aim to highlight and champion the positive role that black men have in their children’s lives-steering away from learned stereotypes imposed by a structurally racist society. In my practice, I will observe real black fathers and children in their everyday environment, to create natural, authentic family portraits that reflect my truth.”
